The “Fabulous” Forum kicked off its 50th Anniversary celebration with its first-ever float entry in the world-renowned 129th Rose Parade in Pasadena, California. Sponsored by Live Nation and designed by Phoenix Decorating Company, the float featured a special performance by Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award-winning band Earth, Wind & Fire.
The Forum’s Rose Parade float included a grand red carpet leading to the exclusive Forum Club and VIP entrance to the Forum. The 27-foot-tall video marquee at the rear of the float showcased photos of some of the legends that have played the building over the past 50 years, and is a replica of the board that is an Inglewood, California icon. The “Fabulous” Forum was covered with white mums, fine ground rice, and red carnations. The grand “red carpet” leading to the Forum Club was made of red roses and the vibrant floral decks feature bright yellow roses, orange roses, white iris, and spectacular white Cattleya orchids. The entire float used over 193,000 flowers.
