Wow what a production!  "13" is a wild musical comedy that places the audience right into the middle of the fantastic and frightening years of adolescence in America by telling the story of a group of students at a middle school in Indiana. These teens, like millions of kids across America, are sorting through the barrage of contradictory messages thrown their way. Evan, in particular, is in a quandary.  He's the newcomer and needs to figure out a way to get all the cool kids to his bar mitzvah. With its contagious energy and humor, "13" is an exciting new musical that speaks to teens, parents and anyone who thrived or just survived those tumultuous years of classes and cliques. The energetic talented cast makes rhythmic upbeat play this a definite "must see." 


This play is most certainly the perfect prescription for anyone feeling a little bit down because the musical numbers combined with the witty humor will cure any case of the blues.

This play is based on the book by Dan Elish directed by Todd Graff with Music and Lyrics by Jason Robert Brown. Mix those guys together with an energetic group of teenagers and you truly have a dream team. The band was awesome, the set was unbelievably creative and the humor contagious.

The cast performed their world premiere opening before a packed house on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.
