First Offers Given to Season Ticket Holders
The Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers announced this week the launch of seat sales and stadium seat licenses (SSL) at the new NFL Stadium being built in Inglewood at Hollywood Park. The new stadium, which will open in 2020, is the centerpiece of the 298-acre Los Angeles Stadium and Entertainment District (LASED) being built by Rams Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke.
Starting this week and continuing over the coming months, Rams and Chargers season ticket members, and fans who signed up for the new stadium waitlist, will receive an invitation to make an appointment at the LA Stadium Premiere Center, located in Playa Vista, to see what’s in store for fans and learn more about their team’s transformational project.
Initially, the teams will offer premium or club seats, located primarily in the lower bowls of the new stadium. All will have an accompanying SSL, which guarantees purchasers the right to their seats.
For the initial phase of club seats, the price range for the accompanying Rams SSLs is $15,000 to $100,000 with a variety of payment options, including short-term installment plans or longer-term financing. Season tickets for the initial block of seats in these premium sections will be $375 per game, and those prices will be locked in for three years. All proceeds from SSL sales for both teams will go toward construction of the new stadium.
“We surveyed thousands of fans and season ticket members multiple times to develop pricing that is fair,” said Kevin Demoff, Rams COO/VP. “There will be a range of price options for all fans, and that will be evident as the entire seating program is rolled out…As we work to defend our NFC West title, continue to invest in our communities, build this unprecedented stadium and develop this 298-acre entertainment district, it is an exciting time to be a Rams fan. We look forward to building the future of this team and our city together.”
The Los Angeles Chargers will have approximately a quarter of the 13,000 premium seats (excluding suites) available for selection starting next week. Sales will fit into three tiers: VIP, club and all-access seats.
Chargers premium seats range in one-time seat license prices from $10,000 (club seats) to $75,000 (all-access seats). All premium seats are $350 per game, and prices are fixed through the 2022 season.
“For decades, a stadium in Los Angeles has been little more than an idea,” said Chargers President of Business Operations A.G. Spanos. “Today the future is here, and it’s a game-changer for the City of Los Angeles, Inglewood, the Chargers organization and our fans. This new, multi-billion dollar stadium at Hollywood Park will establish a new standard for fan experience, and we’re excited that our fans can, at long last, begin securing seats in a venue that will be the very best the NFL has to offer.”
