TEEN GIRLS HONOR LIVING LEGENDS OF JAZZ
Young LadiesHonoring Jazz launched its 2010 jazz concert series on the last weekend of Black History Month. These talented female teen
jazz artists are among the top musicians in Los Angeles county. The young ladies joined forces to honor the Living Legends of Jazz, an
American Institution.
The event featured teen girls who are exceptionally gifted as jazz instrumentalists. The lineup included saxophonist Shannon Kennedy,
Violinist BRoiYal andGuitarist Giavanna Foster of Inglewood. Special Guest Honoree for the event will be Grammy Winning Producer, Bobby
Martin, legendary producer for Lou Rawls, The Bee Gees, Patti Labelle, The O Jays, to name a few.
The Event will benefit Artsecation, a nonprofit that honors youth who are gifted in the arts, supporting arts and education on the global
playing field.
These young ladies are exceptionally talented and we are proud of them. We wish them continued success as they perform always supporting
arts and education throughout the city of Los Angeles. says Angela McAfee, Co-Founder of ARTSECATION.
"We are gifting these Young Ladies of Jazz free phone service to inspire their continued work in the arts. Communications is important to
kids and what better wayto stay in touch with family and friends as well as build an educational fund, says Alvin Hawkins, Living Well
Educational Foundation.

platform to lead with the arts", says B. Foster, AWJ Platinum.
