Remembering Ronald Gipson

Ronald E. Gipson, retired Lieutenant, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, passed away on December 23, 2009 at the age of 65.
Ron joined the Department on January 17, 1966 and retired on November 3, 1998. His last unit of assignment was at Twin Towers Correctional Facility.
The very beloved Ron was born in Texas on October 28, 1944 to the delight of his parents Romie Gipson and Arleacy Wiley Gipson passed away. He will be loved and remembered forever.
Ron is survived by his loving wife Lesley, daughter Lisa Gipson-White, Kim Gipson, Charee Gillins, son Robert Gipson, grandchildren:
Jefferey White Jr., Brandon Gipson, Patrick Gillins, Bryan Gillins, William Gillins and a host of loving relatives and friends. An endearing funeral service for Ron was held on December 30, 2009 at Church of our Heritage. Ron was laid to rest at Forest Lawn - Covina
Hills, 21300 Via Verde Drive, Covina, CA 91724.
