Myrtle Faye Rumph of Inglewood Receives Presidential Award

Myrtle Faye Rumph of Inglewood, California, founder of the Al Wooten Jr. Heritage Center, is one of the 13 winners of the 2010 Citizens Medal award, the nation’s second-highest civilian honor.

Rumph, along with the other winners from across the country, was welcomed by President Obama on August 4, as they receive the presidential award for exemplary service for their fellow citizens.
