Happy New Year to you! As the New Year and a new decade are upon us, I'd like to wish the constituents of the 25th Senate District a joyous, healthy and prosperous 2010.Let us hope we find a greater ability to overcome what divides us so we can solve the deep and real problems facing our great state.
    

 Our greatest challenge in 2010 is putting Californians back to work. I am pleased that my legislation (SB 827) clears the way for
more than 60,000 new jobs and $4 billion in economic activity in Southern California. But we have a lot more to do.I look forward to
joining with you as we face more budget challenges, fight for good jobs, move towards re-opening King Hospital and highlighting the
amazing things that ordinary people are making happen in our schools and neighborhoods.
