Lakers Champions Celebrate with Thousands of Fans Woo! Hoo ! Lakers!
Figueroa Street in Los Angeles overflowed with tens of thousands of jubilant Lakers fans
as they lined a two-mile route Monday to cheer for the NBA champions. Many were
wearing the team colors while waving purple and gold flags. T-shirts read "Back 2 Back"
and the Lakers love was tangible as the fans cheered during the parade that celebrated the
team's second consecutive title and their 16th championship.
